Indian River Central School District offers Universal Pre Kindergarten to students turning 4 on or before December 1.

EMPS has two full day (5 hour) UPK classrooms. These classrooms are staffed by a partnership with the Community Action Planning Council.

Placement in IRCSD UPK programs is through a lottery system, with the initial placements happening in mid May. We are continually enrolling students as spaces become available. Use this form to register for UPK.

Full day UPK is available at all IRCSD primary school buildings (Antwerp, Calcium, Evans Mills, Philadelphia, and Theresa) and a 1/2 day (AM/PM) program is available at Calcium.

Please note, transportation to and from IRCSD UPK programs is the responsibility of the parent/guardian. There is no district transportation.
